Something you should know about me is that I’m not your typical finance person. For me, it’s understanding my clients, their life dreams, what a fulfilling life feels like to them and helping them build both personal and financial foundations that will secure that life that drives me. The numbers and money are simply the vehicle to get you there.

I have dedicated my career as an accountant and wellbeing mentor to helping independent women take charge of their finances by showing them that there is a better way to embody financial confidence and achieve wealth and independence as a woman.

By combining my unique mix of technical, commercial and people skills along with, my dual qualifications in accounting and psychology from The University of Melbourne, Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and Certified Wellbeing Coach certificates, I’m able to bring a holistic approach to finances that supports my clients to be a good steward of their money and maintain their wealth.

As from my work over the last 17 years I have found that most women’s problems with money has little to do with money itself but, their self doubt and lack of self trust in their ability to manage their finances and achieve success and wealth on their own terms. Which is of no fault of their own.

Firstly, women weren’t taught at school how to manage our money and secondly, society hasn’t exactly prepared us for financial success. Women are constantly told we’re not good with money and that it’s a man’s job and we should leave it to them to handle. That we can’t trust ourselves with money, we’re bad with numbers and that we can’t handle financial success on our own. That we can’t be outspoken, ambitious or have a lot of money otherwise nobody will like us.

So it’s not surprising that many women are playing it small.

Women are afraid to dream big, take risks, ask for what they want, feel they have to sacrifice their values in order to succeed and fit in, exhausted from trying to prove their worth, doing too much and just straight up scared of money.

It’s also why so many women have their head in the sand when it comes to finances and are waiting for or letting someone else come along and take charge of their finances for them. But we need to change the status quo because as a woman, you are so capable of taking charge of your finances and securing your own financial future.

Societal conditioning like this has been depriving women of realising just how empowering and life changing it is when you choose to take charge of your finances. I understand that taking charge of your finances can feel daunting but with a tailored holistic approach that is deeply embedded in building both strong personal and financial foundations it also leads to exciting opportunities.

And that’s where I step in as your Holistic Wealth Strategist.
